He holds a Master of Education from Harvard University and has guided students toward admissions at top institutions including Harvard, Yale, Brown, Dartmouth, MIT, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, Georgetown, and Georgia Tech. Dr. Saeed Hassanpour is a university-level lecturer and STEM educator with 10+ years of international teaching experience in Mathematics, Physics, and quantitative studies. Having taught at institutions including UBC, MUN, and UCW, he helps pre-university students build confidence, master problem-solving, and prepare successfully for competitive university pathways.

Susan Eskandari Aloughreh is a BC Certified Educator holding a B.Ed., M.A., and M.Ed., with specialized Orton-Gillingham training. As a public school ELL teacher, she has extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners, including students with autism, ADHD, and learning differences. Susan is passionate about building confidence, unlocking potential, and helping every student thrive through personalized, evidence-informed instruction.

Charlene Liu is a Project Manager at LUX Discovery with a background in business management, educational program development, and student mentorship. A TESOL-certified educator with over seven years of experience teaching IB subjects and mentoring students, she has guided learners in academic achievement, leadership, extracurricular planning, design thinking, and university readiness. Beyond the classroom, Charlene has led two nonprofit organizations and organized more than 100 educational and community initiatives. By combining strong operational leadership with a student-centred approach, she is committed to creating purposeful learning experiences that help students build confidence, develop practical skills, and prepare for future academic and career success.

Shirley Wang is the Operations Manager at Lux Education, overseeing daily operations, parent services, and learning-planning processes. With extensive experience in business operations and team coordination, she focuses on creating efficient, high-quality, and personalized education services. She believes every student has unique strengths and learning needs, and she works closely with families and the education team to help students find the learning path and future direction that best suit them.

Meet Martin, a highly experienced and passionate educator dedicated to helping students build genuine confidence and achieve academic breakthroughs. With over a decade of teaching experience and a proven track record of guiding more than a hundred successful students, Martin knows exactly how to unlock each student's unique potential. Martin holtds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia (UBC). His deep academic foundation is complemented by strong leadership experience and compassion for his students; as the former President of the UBC Undergraduate Statistics Society, he regularly organized and led course review sessions to help his peers excel in challenging university-level statistics courses. Combining his rich background as an academic researcher, corporate leader, and seasoned educator, Martin excels at breaking down intimidating concepts into simple, digestible steps.
